Joshua D. Holt, Broker Associate at Keller Williams Realty, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of real estate.

Guided by his ability to excel in any venture he puts his mind to and holding onto strong values, Mr. Holt’s professional journey has been one of variety, impact, and success. Upon graduating from high school, he joined the US Army Reserve, where he served as a private first class from 1998 to 2003—during which time he also obtained an associate’s degree in marketing from Chippewa Valley Technical College in Wisconsin. In 2005, he became the manager at Finish Line, a retail store that—under his leadership—was recognized as being “#1 in the Midwest region in accessory sales percentage through tenure” and subsequently became a sales and management specialist for American TV from 2006 to 2008. In this role, he earned recognition for his performance and spearheaded the closing of more than $2 million in sales. Between 2008 and 2016, he advanced from manager to senior manager of sales operations at West Corporation in partnership with American Express, and then briefly acted as a relationship manager at Heartland Payment Systems—working to build connections and cash flow and marketing solutions to businesses while finding new clients.

Over the course of his prolific career, Mr. Holt always held an interest in real estate and thought about eventually earning a license to pursue it seriously. His entry into the industry occurred as an inside sales agent within a team at Keller Williams Realty in Madison. From there, he moved into a Realtor® role where he directly helped folks purchase homes throughout the area.

Since 2018, Mr. Holt has been the owner of the Holt Real Estate Team within Keller Williams Realty, serving his community as a full-service broker associate and as a Realtor® . Equipped with a Wisconsin broker’s license, a designation as an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, and a Commitment to Excellence endorsement, he strives to help people find their dream homes or sell and invest; lead his team toward success by instilling a strong mission, vision, and values; and educate, coach, and mentor other agents at different levels so they can grow their businesses.

Within the next several years, Mr. Holt hopes to expand his role as a Keller Williams trainer and continue going above and beyond for his clients.  As a testament to his integrity, he was honored among the “40 Under 40” in 2021 by In Business Magazine. When he is not working, he enjoys traveling, cooking, baking with his daughter, and spending quality time with his family.
