Ms. Klingaman was introduced to real estate by her husband, who worked in real estate. Combining this interest with her desire to become an entrepreneur, she has made her dreams come true through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Prior to real estate, she served as a medical laboratory technician for the Avera Queen of Peach Health Services, the Avera McKenna Hospital & University Health Center, and as a paraeducator for the Mitchell School District. Between 2009 and 2015, Ms. Klingaman taught as an adjunct professor at Colorado Technical University, as a secondary science teacher at Mount Vernon School District, and as an adjunct professor at Northern State University and Dakota Wesleyan University. Her foray into real estate began in 2014 when she became a broker associate and realtor at Mitchell Realty, LLC.

In 2019, Ms. Klingaman joined EXIT Realty as a real estate broker, and since 2020 has been the owner of EXIT Realty – Mitchell. In this venture, she serves South Dakota and is on par to become one of the largest real estate providers in the state. She manages her team of five realtors and does all the bookwork and other day-to-day operations of the business. She holds a number of certifications and credentials in the real estate field and in her previous careers including; Real Estate Broker, Broker of Rec, Off, Partnership & Corp., South Dakota Real Estate Commission, 2019-2021; Medical Laboratory Technician, American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), 1996; General Biology coursework, South Dakota State University, 1993; Broker Associate, Real Estate, ProEd.

Ms. Klingaman has been supported in her endeavors by her academic background. After graduating from Mitchell High School she received an associate’s degree from Mitchell Technical Institute. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in general biology from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2006, and a Master of Science in secondary education and teaching from the institution in 2008. Ms. Klingaman also remains committed to her community and is involved as the Financial Chair of Mission Task Force of the Resurrection Lutheran Church, as a member of the Business Improvement District (BID) Board for Mitchell Main Street & Beyond, as a Board member, James Valley Community Center, and on the Safehouse Board for Battered Women and Children.
