Kyle Lewis, Senior Associate at CBRE, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of real estate.

Guided by his passion, energy, and care for others, Mr. Lewis has advanced from an analyst at the commercial real estate company in 2020 to his current position, which he has held since 2024. In this capacity, he advises owners and tenants on lease obligations and strategic considerations and fosters collaboration among individuals and groups. In addition, he has created supportive environments for personal and professional growth, empowered colleagues to succeed and enjoy their work, and applied daily practices of promotion and encouragement in the professional setting. Over the past three years, as of 2025, he has consistently ranked among the top 25 producers in Austin for those under 30 years old.

Prior to his tenure at CBRE, Mr. Lewis attained a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and real estate from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin in 2019; by his second year, he had a clear goal of becoming a real estate broker. During his studies, he worked at Dallas College and gained experience in real estate finance at Sands Investments. He also assisted a local entrepreneur, Greg Bell, in establishing Bell Tower Commercial Real Estate in Massachusetts. All of this collectively solidified his foundation in his industry.

As a further testament to his strengths as a leader, Mr. Lewis co-founded Zest & Co., an Austin-based business that strives to improve the city’s “going out” scene and create a unique social experience, from DJ sets to multi-layered art galleries. Since 2022, they have turned a passion project into a thriving secondary venture by successfully hosting 25 events, selling more than 5,000 tickets, and earning recognition from Austin, with a substantial grant through the Austin Live Music Fund in 2024. They were also featured in two articles in Voyage Austin Magazine in 2023 and 2025, which highlighted their role as credible local promoters who support local businesses in Austin.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Lewis has long been committed to charitable work and volunteering. He has contributed $50,000 each to the nonprofits Wonders & Worries and Austin Angels, and actively volunteers in multiple events for both organizations through 2025. During his high school years in Arlington, he taught swimming lessons to children with special needs for three years and has continued to be involved, serving as a chaperone and coach at Special Olympics events annually.

A natural athlete who enjoys running, playing basketball, and cold plunging, Mr. Lewis successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa in 2022 and completed an Ironman Triathlon in 2025. Drawing on these experiences, he aims to focus on mentoring the next generation of basketball players, a pursuit he is deeply passionate about; he strives to not only teach the technical aspects of the sport but also instill valuable life lessons related to character, preparation, and discipline. He also plans to continue expanding his real estate business and playing an active role in shaping the city’s growth.
