Eric J. Fry, Director of Technical Sales at Chemstream Inc., has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of real estate.

Instilled with a strong work ethic from a young age, Mr. Fry was raised by two business owners, who served as great role models for him. From his father, who ran a small tire store, he learned a lot about working hard and making the most of himself, as well as the sentiment that “nothing in life is handed to you, you have to work for everything.” This example set him on his journey of success and continues to inspire him to this day.

Working for five years as a tire technician at his father’s business, Warren Tire Center, Mr. Fry ultimately earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Penn State University in 2010, after which he settled into a career at FTS International, a government contractor providing a wide range of expert services.  Between 2010 and 2016, he excelled as a field engineer, fluid technician, laboratory manager, chemist, and laboratory technician within the oil and gas industry across North America. He then found success as a technical manager at ECM Supply and in technical sales and marketing at Chemstream, Inc.

At Chemstream, where he now serves as the director of technical sales, Mr. Fry witnessed remarkable growth, helping to take the company from $12 million to $225 million since joining in 2018. In this capacity, she fosters relationships and expands the customer base to generate new revenue streams, works closely with technical sales representatives, collaborates with the technology team to optimize testing processes and adopt new market technologies, and attends conferences and networks. His role is a source of particular pride for him, reflecting on how much dedication and effort went into advancing from working at the tire center to this position. In addition, he’s excelled as the managing partner at his privately-owned family business, CAJEC Real Estate LLC—which encompasses car wash facilities, self-service laundromats, self-storage units, and rental properties—since 2021.

A member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Mr. Fry has authored several technical engineering-based articles and papers over the years. He also continued his education by earning a Master of Business Administration in energy management from Waynesburg University in 2019.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Fry strives to continue contributing to the oil and gas industry by driving efforts for affordable and sustainable energy solutions. He aspires to play a role in advancing technology and making a strong impact in society while progressing in his career, making significant contributions to his company’s growth, and using his expertise to educate others about their products and services. His ultimate goal is to become an entrepreneur and work closer with his family in their business endeavors; they are actively seeking their next venture.
