Tamara O. Hansen, Director of Sales at NRT Technologies Inc., has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the sales field.
Since 2020, Ms. Hansen’s responsibilities in her leadership role include serving as a consultant to major names in casinos, entertainment, and large enterprises in developing their digital transformation strategies, particularly around financial technology solutions. Wielding expertise in digital transformation and gaming and financial technology, she provides solutions to her substantial clientele base across nine states. She also lends her knowledge and guidance as a public speaker at numerous industry conferences. Furthermore, she’s an appointed Lean-In Circle Moderator and Chair of the Board of Global Gaming Women. Maintaining her Vegas roots she continues to serve as the founding co-chair of Women in Sports and Entertainment’s (WISE) Mentorship Committee and president of the Las Vegas Theta Alumnae Chapter.
Prior to her current endeavors, Ms. Hansen launched her professional journey as a Leadership Consultant, facilitating workshops on effective communication and presentations on Authentic Leadership. Ms. Hansen moved her career from California to Las Vegas, Nevada, for an opportunity to join the corporate event and convention sales team as a coordinator at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, excelling as a sales manager at The Mirage and then ARIA Resort & Casino, representing some of the most iconic names in the city. As a speaker and motivator, she considers her favorite contribution thus far to be this year’s CES Tradeshow, which requested her commentary on the impact of more women entering into technology. Another was a keynote on AI during the closing session for the Gambling and Risk Taking Conference, a gathering of educators, regulators, and members of the gaming and gambling industry held once every three years and hosted by the International Gaming Institution at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Ms. Hansen previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech and language pathology from California State University, Fresno. During her time at Fresno State, she was active as an aid to students with disabilities, office support for the Down Syndrome Association of Central California, and a fundraising committee member for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA). In addition, Ms. Hansen was elected as CEO/President and several other leadership positions within the Gamma Chi Chapter of the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. Outside of her primary endeavors, she played on the Club Volleyball Team and worked anywhere from one to three part-time jobs at a time to pay her own way through college.
Recently, Ms. Hansen fulfilled her decade-long dream of becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Guardian at Litum (GAL) in her new home county of West Palm Beach, aiding reunification efforts for children in the foster care system.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Hansen plans to continue empowering her clients with the knowledge and technology to transform with the future. A committed lifelong learner, she is typically found on a walk deep in an audiobook, taking various courses, attending conferences, and writing – publishing a book of her own may be a possibility in the not-so-distant future.
