Nicholas R. Pechin, Project Manager at Verde Electric Corporation, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of engineering.

Through sheer determination and perseverance, Mr. Pechin has quickly risen through the ranks at Verde Electric Corporation, a major New York-based electrical contracting company, where he was hired out of college as a project engineer in 2019 and now serves as a project manager. In this capacity, which he has held since 2023, he acts as the main point of contact for projects—working with customers and subcontractors to facilitate its completion, liaising with the foreman, and ensuring everything is on schedule and within the budget.

A general contractor by trade specializing in utilities and infrastructure work, Mr. Pechin began in engineering as a stage technician at the White Plains Performing Arts Center in 2015. Over the years, he has been active as an electrical technician at NEP Group, Inc., an engineering intern at CBS Corporation, a lighting designer at Little Radical Theatrics, Inc., and a stage technician at Westchester Broadway Theatre. In addition, he has excelled in assisting in theatrical lighting and other technical roles for local productions in schools or community theater and even as far as regional and off-Broadway shows. Since 2012 and 2014, he has lent his expertise as a videographer to Westchester Communications and as a lighting technician to Silent G Theatrical Productions, respectively. In addition, he has been a set designer at Local Celebrity Theatre since 2016 and a spotlight operator at The Actors Conservatory Theatre since 2017. Amid his professional endeavors, he has earned a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and a Master of Engineering in civil engineering and construction management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Having achieved a lot in a short time, Mr. Pechin strives to continue building on his already-accomplished career. Looking toward the future, he wants to further utilize his knowledge in construction and design; advance to a senior project manager, directorial, or vice president position in the field; and eagerly anticipates his upcoming marriage and starting a family with his fiancée.
