Jeremy Wilkerson, Vice President at PPS Tower, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for his contributions and achievements in the field of telecommunications, tower and civil construction.
Growing up in a blue-collar family in Michigan, Mr. Wilkerson developed a strong work ethic and determination at a young age. He attended a Christian school, where he succeeded as an all-around student-athlete and earned the “Knight” award in his junior and senior years. Upon graduating with honors, he worked in civil, construction, and carpentry, building custom homes.
In 2011, Mr. Wilkerson relocated to Arizona and was hired as the warehouse manager at TSI Tower Services Inc., initially knowing nothing about the industry. Over the course of a decade in the telecommunications industry, he advanced from foreman to civil manager, then to construction manager of operations from 2019 to 2022. During his time at TSI, he worked closely with Robert Johnston, the company’s owner and president, who became a father figure, teaching him all aspects of the business–from job walks to scheduling, invoicing, and customer relationships, as well as how to be a leader, developing his skills over many years. When the opportunity was presented to Mr. Wilkerson to leave TSI Towers and go to PPS, Mr. Johnston praised him, telling him he didn’t want him to leave, but “I know you can do it” and “Give ’em Hell,” ultimately giving his blessing to leave TSI.
Since 2023, Mr. Wilkerson has excelled at PPS Tower, an Arizona-based tower construction company. Working closely with the owner, Tom Broschinsky, he specializes in complete tower installations, from conception to completion, and quickly advanced from civil construction manager of operations to vice president of operations. Among his various responsibilities, he meets with customers and new clients, engages in job walks, is involved with engineering and bidding, oversees day-to-day operations, and ensures project execution, from materials to the overall functionality. In addition, he has established strong relationships with major companies, including Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T, and has connected with many professionals across the valley.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Wilkerson is working to acquire ownership of PPS Tower and, with his team’s help, take it to the next level. He will also continue supporting his children—two daughters, BrookeLyn and Loralai, and a son, Griffin—as they pursue their own futures and strive for success. BrookeLyn, his oldest, works in Chicago, while Loralai works at PPS Tower in AP/AR with him. Meanwhile, his son is headed to the Marines in August to chase his own dreams. He finds deep joy in watching his children grow and accomplish their goals; he is also in a loving relationship with his girlfriend of three years, who shares his values, including their commitment to God, family, work, and each other.
Mr. Wilkerson aims to continue balancing family life with professional growth, seeing his business flourish, and appreciating the leadership and friendship within his team. Outside of his primary endeavors, he enjoys traveling, carpentry, flipping cars, and riding his Harley-Davidson.
