Jeremy Wilkerson, Vice President at PPS Tower, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of construction.
Growing up in a blue-collar family in Michigan, Mr. Wilkerson developed a strong work ethic, resilience, and determination at a young age. While attending a Christian school, from which he ultimately graduated as salutatorian, and succeeding as an all-around athlete, he worked construction with his father and grandfather. He was married at 19 and, following a difficult divorce, raised his three children on his own, moving from job to job to make ends meet.
However, in 2011, Mr. Wilkerson was hired as a warehouse manager at TSI Tower Services Inc., initially knowing nothing about the industry. Over the course of a decade at the prominent contractor for the wireless telecommunications industry, he advanced to foreman and civil manager before his final position as senior construction manager from 2020 to 2022. In this capacity, he worked closely with his mentor and the company’s vice president, Robert Johnson, on all aspects of the business, from job walks to scheduling, invoicing, and customer relationships, developing his skills over many years. As a testament to his impact there, he was recognized him with a Valuable Employee Award.
Since 2023, Mr. Wilkerson has excelled at PPS Tower, an Arizona-based construction company specializing in complete tower installations, where he quickly advanced from civil construction manager to vice president. Among his various responsibilities, he meets with new customers and potential clients, engages in job walks, oversees family operations, and ensures project execution regarding materials, trucks, and overall functionality. In addition, he has established strong relationships with major companies, including Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T, as well as connections with many of those companies’ vice presidents.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Wilkerson hopes to continue supporting his children—two daughters and a son—as they pursue their own futures and strive for success. He finds deep joy in watching his children grow and accomplish their goals; he is also in a loving relationship with a woman who shares his values, including their mutual commitment to helping others through their church, as well as volunteers with the nonprofit Feed My Starving Children. He aims to continue balancing family life with professional growth, seeing his business flourish, and appreciating the leadership within his team. Outside of his primary endeavors, he enjoys woodworking, cabinetry, hunting, and riding motorcycles.
