Diandre Pierce, Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of engineering.
Despite growing up extremely poor, Mr. Pierce’s mother always encouraged him to persevere through hard work and confidence. He ultimately attended the University of Alabama, where he studied mechanical engineering for seven years before earning a bachelor’s degree in 2019. An intern in the automotive industry for two years, he was subsequently offered a job at Raytheon Technologies Corporation. At the aerospace and defense company, he excelled as an advanced manufacturing and test engineer, a project manager, and a mechanical engineer, working on hypersonic missiles, nuclear warfare, and defense radars for jets.
Equipped with management and project management experience, Mr. Pierce has been active as a principal system safety engineer and product owner at Northrop Grumman since 2024 and was recently nominated for the Black Engineer of the Year Award. As a testament to his dedication to his field, he’s been a longtime National Society of Black Engineers member and enjoys giving financial and career advice to people. He advises aspiring professionals that consistency, discipline, and steady progress are the keys to success. In addition, he has also found success as a real estate investor and day trader at Sic Parvis Magna LLC since 2021, recognized as a Top Agent by BestAgents.us and in Best in Real Estate Magazine.
Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Pierce was previously a winner on season two of the game show, “You Bet Your Life with Jay Leno.” Looking toward the future, he aims to focus more on the real estate part of his business as he wants to spend more time with his wife and two children.
