Daniel Shirazi, Founder at Forefront Global Logistics, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of logistics.

Attributing his success to his father, the owner of a Chicago-based construction, real estate, and property management company whose strong work ethic he instilled in him, Mr. Shirazi’s professional journey began at 13 as a caddy at a golf course, where he learned important principles for dealing with high-net-worth individuals. Two years later, he took a job at a car dealership, where he honed his skills in online sales and quickly became one of the top sales representatives. After a promotion, he worked as a vehicle delivery coordinator and, by 17, became the dealership’s top sales representative, a role he held for four years.

A year later, Mr. Shirazi launched his first company, Limitless Clothing, which focused on lifestyle apparel. The venture taught him valuable lessons about running a company independently. From his father’s company, he grew up with strong insights into real estate, especially construction. He would assist his father by managing books and learning accounting while also gaining knowledge from general contractors about building a real estate portfolio.

After graduating from Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate in 2019, Mr. Shirazi founded Danny’s Gaming in 2020, a Chicago casino lounge that offered slot machines. At the same time, he became involved in his father’s real estate business, during which time he had the opportunity to start Forefront Global Logistics with his high school best friends, Kristofer Lopez and Giovanni Ciaccio, for which he has been founder and president since 2021. Utilizing his expertise in sales, business development, management, and scaling operations, the third-party logistics company provides comprehensive logistics solutions to such clients as Walmart, ensuring shipments are delivered promptly and keeping clients updated.

The company began in Elk Grove Village in Illinois and quickly expanded, with a second office in Miami and growth to a team of 30 people. The third office has since opened in downtown Chicago, and the company now generates approximately $50 million in annual revenue, with services even offered internationally, including in China and South America. The team imports and exports, warehousing and drayage, covering every aspect of the supply chain needed to get a product from the manufacturer to the shelves.

Attributing his success to all he learned from his parents and professional mentors, Mr. Shirazi encourages future members in his field to be confident, knowledgeable, and engaging with clients. “The more a person educates and informs their audience, the more receptive that audience will be, driven by a natural curiosity to learn,” he advised. “If someone lacks expertise and struggles to communicate their message confidently, clients will find it difficult to trust them with their business.”

Mr. Shirazi’s aspiration for the future is to grow Forefront Global Logistics to eventually be acquired and sold. He also aspires to start another company, wanting to become a serial entrepreneur like his father, including building a real estate portfolio and make a strong impact in his community. He also intends to support various causes in meaningful ways, such as volunteering to read books to children, finding great joy in bringing smiles to faces.
