Brett L. Moore, Managing Partner and Wealth Advisor at RBM Wealth Management Group, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of financial services.

Over the course of his accomplished career in the financial services industry, Mr. Moore, a Certified Financial Planner, has been inspired by skills he learned within his previous field. Baseball held an immense significance in his life from an early age and all throughout his youth, culminating in a three-year professional career as a pitcher for the New York Federals in the Can-Am League, and the Carlsbad Bats and the Santa Fe Fuego in the Pecos League. In the midst of playing, he coached the sport at Paul VI Catholic High School and started working full-time at W.C. Moore Financial Services, LLC with his father, also a Certified Financial Planner, who taught him everything he now knows about the client work process and provided general guidance in navigating the industry. Mr. Moore transferred the prowess, mentality, ambition, work ethic, and perseverance he had accrued in baseball to this career he built.

Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in business, with a minor in math, from Mount St. Mary’s University and numerous credentials and certifications, Mr. Moore worked for his father for 10 years. He then served as a wealth advisor at Shepard Financial from 2018 to 2021 and has excelled as a managing partner and wealth advisor at RBM Wealth Management Group since 2021. At the firm, which he and his business partner, J. Ryan Bickel, have been growing together, Mr. Moore provides comprehensive financial planning, estate planning, and retirement planning; meets with clients; and manages other agents. As a testament to his success, he was voted the top advisor in 2022, was top 3 in 2021 and 2023, was listed among National Advisor Today’s 4 Under 40 by NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) in 2022, and earned a National Quality Award by the organization twice, in 2022 and 2023. His dedication to the industry pervades in his memberships with NAIFA, NAIFA Georgia, the Financial Planning Association, and the Young Professionals Committee. In addition, he serves as chair of the Emerging Leaders Alliance and is an affiliate of the Coweta Chamber of Commerce, Ameritas’ All Star Study Group, and the Association of Professional Ball Players of America.

Looking ahead toward his professional future, Mr. Moore strives to continue expanding his business and following in the footsteps of his father’s successful approach. He aspires to achieve remarkable growth and plans to build the firm’s brand with his partner, attract more agents, and ultimately expand regionally and establish more offices. He also hopes to return to baseball by assisting athletes and providing guidance and support regarding financial decisions. But despite his passion for work, his family—consisting of his wife, Jennie, and their two daughters—will always be his primary focus. In fact, he made a conscious decision to prioritize spending time with his daughters—even leaving the office by early afternoon to be with them until their bedtime at 8 p.m., at which point he will sometimes resume work up until midnight or beyond. He said he values his children’s upbringing over rapid business growth.
