Tremese Davis, Vice President of Operations of Atlanta Gaslight, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of business management.

Ms. Davis was driven to work in this profession by her desire to benefit the community and serve as a citizen for each neighborhood.   As her line of work touches every part of society, from customers, education partners, and business owners, she finds it paramount to be involved in every area. In addition, Ms. Davis spends time within these communities with students and their parents to highlight the range of careers that are very available at Atlanta Gaslight. To date, Ms. Davis’ most notable achievement has been developing an 18-month program for diversifiers. This program entails companies across different industries (engineering, sales, security, etc.) learning how to do business with larger corporations.

Ms. Davis had always been interested in working in business and first earned a Bachelor of Arts in human resources from Georgia Southern University in 1998. She later received an MBA from the Stetson School of Business and Economics from Mercer University in 2013. Prior to joining Atlanta Gaslight, she garnered skills and experience as the Director of Supplier Diversity for Southern Company Gas. Looking toward the future, Ms. Davis would like to make more of a difference in the DEI space for minorities and women. She maintains professional membership with the American Association of Black Energy. She would like to see stronger partnerships with her education partners, students, parents, guidance counselors and teachers. She would like to continue building the pathway for students who are interested.
