Title: Chief Executive Officer

Company: Transtech Consulting

Tolulope Oginni, Chief Executive Officer at Transtech, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of financial services.

Determined to help support and train Black communities in the U.S. government’s battle against money laundering, terrorism finance, and counterterrorism, Mr. Oginni has been active as an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst and Fraud Analyst at SunTrust since 2019 and at Barclays Bank since 2023. In these capacities, he works in the transaction monitoring operation department, mitigates any risk, files suspicious activity reports—which are then submitted to the Crime and Enforcement Network—and activates the alert triggered by a suspicious transaction. He became involved in this profession upon relocating from his home country of Nigeria to the United States, as he was unhappy with crimes being committed, particularly fraudulent activities, which he had experienced firsthand. Mr. Oginni has dedicated himself to advocating for Black communities in order to prevent them from becoming victims of these crimes.

In support of these endeavors, Mr. Oginni is a national and international businessman as the owner of Transtech Consulting, LLC, a venture he embarked on in 2021 through which he trains people to attain a greater height in the financial industry. The company provides extensive Anti-Money Laundering training to help people utilize industry knowledge and specialized skills to solve real problems as Anti-Money Laundering Analysts. It will also soon be launching RYT Dating App, which is specifically designed for “professionals who want to experience love in the right way.” Prior to these roles, he served as an Anti-Money Laundering analyst and a Know Your Customer Analyst at Intercontinental Bank PLC and as the chief executive officer of Transfurd Limited, the agricultural development and management service company he successfully launched in Nigeria before entering the finance and IT sector in the United States.

Over the course of his career, he has been recognized with 18 global awards between Nigeria and the United States and was honored by Forbes as a featured member of its 30 Under 30 Chief Executive Officer and Entrepreneurs List in 2019. He holds a diploma in business administration and management from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Bachelor of Science in small business administration from the University of Lagos. Looking toward the future, My. Oginni envisions helping and influencing people, ensuring they develop and benefit from the opportunities of America.
