Stanley Kovler, Vice President at Extreme Networks, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of communications.
Since 2019, Mr. Kovler has led and driven strategic communications with investors at the North Carolina-based company, which specializes in providing networking communications equipment and software. His primary focus is on managing the perceptions of investors, analysts, regulators, and financial journalists—ultimately fostering trust and transparency and forging powerful partnerships within the financial community. In this capacity, he considers his most notable achievements to be the two mergers and acquisitions transactions he conducted, in addition to extending the company’s shareholder base.
Wielding more than two decades of experience in investor relations, strategy, and corporate development, Mr. Kovler attributes his success to having a clear vision of what he wants to accomplish and setting specific goals to reach those objectives. He also believes in surrounding himself with the right network of people and finding the right individuals to work with to achieve his goals.
Mr. Kovler launched his career in 1999 as an associate of equity portfolio and research at ClearBridge Investments, LLC, where he worked for four years—during which time he studied and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and investments from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in 2003. He excelled at Merrill Lynch as an analyst and vice president of Telecom equipment for several years before serving as a senior associate of communications equipment research at Morgan Stanley. Until he joined Extreme Networks in 2018 as an executive director, he rose through the ranks at Citigroup Inc., from a senior analyst to vice president.
Looking ahead, Mr. Kovler strives to expand his responsibilities while continuing to focus on strategy and corporate development. He plans to acquire more skills to position himself as a senior executive, be it at Extreme Networks or another company.
