Attributing his success to never turning down a tough challenge, Shawn E. Olah has excelled in fine dining and event management as an executive chef at a close-knit club in North Carolina since 2021. As a testament to his skills and impact in this role, he has been featured and interviewed across such media outlets as the New York Times, in an article titled “Teeing Up Finer Dining,” Golf Kitchen magazine, and WTWH Media LLC; he contributed “Meyer Lemon Tart with Candied Citrus and Crème Fraiche” to Golf Kitchen in 2021 and was listed among the “Top 10 Private Club Chefs in the Country Under the Age of 40” by the publication in 2022.
In addition, Mr. Olah has served within the Society of Fellows at the Culinary Institute of America since 2022 and as a volunteer with the American Culinary Federation since 2023. He previously held the position of executive chef at Tara Golf & Country Club from 2019 to 2021, Green Bay Country Club from 2018 to 2019, and The Town Club from 2015 to 2018. He developed his culinary expertise as a sous chef at Club Pelican Bay from 2011 to 2015, a cook at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC from 2010 to 2011, an executive banquet chef at Royal Poinciana Golf Club from 2006 to 2010, and an executive banquet chef at Bald Peak Colony Club in 2009.
