Ruby Bitzer, Attorney at the Attorneys Real Estate Group, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of law.
Ms. Bitzer became involved in her profession because she really wanted to be able to use her career as a platform for change. Out of all the career options she assessed, she surmised that lawyers could single-handedly make a difference in history. She was inspired by the likes of such legal heavyweights as Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Thurgood Marshall. In this respect, she first earned an Associate of Science in business administration from Butte Community College in 2014 and followed it with a BSBA from California State University in 2016. In 2020, Ms. Bitzer earned a JD from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific.
In recognition of her outstanding work as a student, Ms. Bitzer received an Order of the Coif from the McGeorge School of Law at University of the Pacific in 2020. She is also the recipient of three Witkin Awards in Wills and Trusts from the institution. To date, she considers her greatest achievement to be passing the bar exam on her first try while working full time. She began working with her current firm, the Attorneys Real Estate Group in 2019, and currently holds the position of associate attorney. Prior to this, she garnered experience as a law clerk for Bartholomew & Wasznicky LLP from 2016 to 2019, and as a legal secretary for the Law Offices of Melissa A. Atteberry from 2011 to 2016.
Ms. Bitzer attributes her success to her unyielding work ethic, independence in finding her own answers and knowing the value of hard work. She remains diligent with her clients and assures the client’s focus first while serving them to the best of her ability. Having grown up in foster care, Ms. Bitzer understands the difficult challenges people face in life and how she can help them overcome their obstacles. Looking toward the future, Ms. Bitzer wants to be a partner or open her own firm, and serve a larger clientele base such as business owners and helping them with their investments or growing their business. She is also looking forward to starting a family.
