Richard Snow, Truck Driver and Published Poet, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of transportation and the arts.

Mr. Snow has lead a life filled with adventure. From traversing the nation’s road transporting goods and services, to working as a mechanic on C-17 aircraft, and to being a published poet for more than 25 years. With a wide range of skills, he is able to breathe life into his work. He became interested in poetry due to being a voracious reader while growing up. His mastery of this art form has resulted in such accolades as being considered a Man of the Year by the American Biographical Society in 2008, and as a Poet with the International Hall of Fame in 1986.

In his career, Mr. Snow has held a multitude of positions. He recently served as a truck driver for Logistics & Distribution Services, Western Express Full-time, Watkins & Shepard Trucking Inc. and Swift Transportation. He has also garnered skills and experience through various positions with Kohl’s, the U.S. Census Bureau, the County of San Bernardino, Remedy Temp, BancTec, Mervyns and various other institutions. Early in his career, Mr. Snow enjoyed his time as a machine operator with Kelly Temporary Services, as a laborer with the Navy Exchange Center, and as a Tool Crib Attendant-Grade 1 with the Douglas Aircraft Company. He looks forward to retiring and mentoring others.
