Kirsten N. Clark has established a multifaceted career spanning military public affairs, communications, marketing, wellness and entrepreneurship. She currently serves as the chief executive officer of Ditch Rock Transport Supply, a business she co-owns with her husband. In her role, she oversees communications and digital operations for practical needs within the trucking and transportation industry. Ditch Rock Transport Supply provides drivers with essential equipment through its affiliation with Amazon, including ratchet straps, toolboxes, logbooks, coolers and fifth wheel-related supplies. Drawing on her communications and marketing background, Ms. Clark manages the website, updates products, conducts email campaigns, and oversees social media and blog content.

In addition to her work with Ditch Rock Transport Supply, Ms. Clark draws on her expertise in fitness and wellness to function as a certified personal trainer and wellness associate at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis and a group fitness instructor at Hendricks Regional Health YMCA. She has earned designations as a certified personal trainer through ISSA, a CrossFit certified trainer, a BODYPUMP instructor and a certified group fitness instructor. Her current roles in the fitness sphere build on an interest in physical training developed during her military service.

Ms. Clark served for 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, working in public affairs and community relations; she ultimately achieved the rank of staff sergeant. A significant milestone in her military career involved participating in a recovery mission in Vietnam as a forensic photographer. During a six-week search for a Navy pilot who had been shot down during the Vietnam War, the team located the aircraft wreckage; however, they were unable to recover the pilot’s remains. The assignment reinforced Ms. Clark’s commitment to service and supporting military families.

Following her military service, Ms. Clark joined the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs, progressing from front desk receptionist to media marketing manager and communications manager. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she helped manage communications for a financial assistance program supporting veterans and their families, helping ensure eligible individuals were aware of available resources. Ms. Clark and her husband are now exploring the possibility of establishing a trucking company as an extension of Ditch Rock Transport Supply, with the goal of creating employment opportunities for truck drivers in Indiana. Ms. Clark identifies her children and military service among her most meaningful accomplishments and credits her Christian faith, husband and parents with shaping her values. She emphasizes integrity, particularly the importance of doing what is right even when no one is watching and intends to carry that principle into her continued work as a business owner, veteran and member of the Indiana community.
