Frank V. Torres, Founder and Jeweler at GCG Jewelers, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of jewelry.

Driven by unwavering dedication and resilience, Mr. Torres works as a full-time bench jeweler for two prestigious companies in Phoenix, Arizona, while managing his own brand business on the side. He proudly started his venture in 2017, originally under the name Global Crown Gems LLC, wielding his craftsmanship to make and sell gemstone jewelry rooted in the influence of minerals and spirituality.

Backed by a Bench Jewelry Fundamentals Diploma and Stone Setting Diploma, Mr. Torres began his journey in the jewelry industry with a specialization in wire wrapping before officially transitioning into the professional field and focusing on high-end pieces. His ability to work on valuable items has earned him the trust of his employers and various clients over the years. He has even been featured in multiple articles in Voyage Phoenix Magazine, among many other recognitions.

Mr. Torres attributes much of his success to shadowing his Uncle Cris, a successful business owner who helped him navigate entrepreneurship and become an effective leader in fast-paced environments. He’s additionally been motivated by a commitment to fulfill a promise he made to his late cousin, George, to strive for greatness, pursue his dreams, and turn those dreams into a reality. His aspirations have yet to slow down: looking toward the future, he envisions GCG Jewelers becoming a household brand that will expand beyond just jewelry-making to designing, as well as “garments, mineral carvings, and elegant accessories for the world.”

Outside of his primary endeavors, Mr. Torres is active with the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym, and reading.
