Eric Hampton Waldron, Overseeing Global Real Estate and Workplaces at 6Sense Insights, Inc., has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of technology.

The first chapter of Mr. Waldron’s accomplished career was set in the sky. He spent 15 years, from 1999 to 2014, as a flight attendant for United Airlines, racking up more than 10,000 flights across international and domestic routes and fostering a safe environment for passengers and staff alike under his strong leadership. Back on the ground, he utilized this knack for hospitality in his next role as a hotel concierge. For four years, he served guests at the only five-star luxury property in San Francisco, the Four Seasons Hotels, as well as Hotel Adagio and the Morgans Hotel Group. As a testament to his abilities, he was the only hotel concierge in the history of San Francisco to receive a score of 100 from Forbes.

Seeking something new and to become more marketable in the tech-driven Bay Area, Mr. Waldron connected with a friend at 6Sense Insights, Inc., an AI-driven agency, for advice on computer courses. During a meeting there, higher-ups offered to create a position for him, highlighting his valuable soft skills over technical knowledge. In 2019, he was hired as an office manager of operations across three countries, a role in which he identified inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, taking initiative to enhance the team’s experience while learning software and technology. As he progressed, he embraced the challenge, ultimately advancing in position to Team Lead of Global Workplaces and Experiences before landing his current role in 2022.

As Head of Global Real Estate and Workplaces, Mr. Waldron leads the strategic management of real estate and workplace operations, with a high focus on people, team motivation and performance, and overall company culture. He utilizes his experiences as a flight attendant and concierge to create a welcoming, productive environment; amid his myriad responsibilities, he manages workplace strategies, lease negotiations, space planning, and cost-effective solutions.

His most notable achievement in this capacity was spearheading Friday Giving, an initiative for team members to submit suggestions for charitable giving organizations—from sending masks to hospitals to natural disaster response. To this day, he selects a suggestion from the list, which has remained active and donates to a global organization in need of assistance. This commitment to giving back, which aligns with Mr. Waldron’s nature and background in the service industry, has continued to thrive. Outside of these endeavors, he has long been involved in such civic endeavors as the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, of which he has been a contributor since 2013.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Waldron strives to expand his portfolio at 6Sense while growing the company based on future developments with RTO. He also envisions creating offices in real estate designs. In addition, he aspires to transform his Friday Giving philanthropy into a large-scale, worldwide volunteer organization that includes multiple companies. Despite these ambitions, he remains passionate about his work with real estate agents, touring properties, and fostering environments where people can thrive. On a personal note, he plans to purchase his first house in the coming years.
