An integrated healing arts practitioner since 2023, Ms. Thigpen has provided specialized holistic services designed to support people’s journeys toward inner peace and well-being as the founder and principal hypnotherapist of her Alabama-based practice. She primarily works with individuals suffering from PTSD, trauma, and the effects of narcissistic abuse, for whom she utilizes crystals, guided meditation, and art therapy to help process emotions. Her compassionate and effective approach to mental wellness and healing comes after starting in the technology field.
Wielding an associate degree in computer software engineering from Herzing University and an associate in computer and information sciences from Virginia College, Ms. Thigpen served as a systems administrator at Weathertech Distribution Company, Inc. from 2002 to 2004 and then in computer customer service at Inline Technologies. Since 2014, she’s been active as a merchandise specialist at TJ Maxx, a job she still maintains part-time. Her gravitation toward hypnotherapy stemmed from a desire to help others conquer their traumas; having firsthand experience with it, she wanted to give back. She ultimately earned a diploma from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and joined the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Thigpen aspires to build a rehabilitation facility, as well as decrease the number of overdose cases in the community by as much as 50 percent. She attributes her success to her father, who inspired her to be strong in the face of life’s challenges.
