Mr. Allison’s immersion into the vehicle maintenance industry was a natural one as his father has owned a tire and automotive business for decades, and continues to do so at 82 years old—serving as a great role model to him in regards to customer service, work ethic, and business longevity. Upon graduating from high school, he worked as the manager of his family’s auto parts shop for 10 years and then, in 1996, utilized his firsthand experience and knowledge to open Allison’s Quick Lube in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, a full-service automobile maintenance center that offers everything from engine overhauls to oil changes.
As owner and president, Mr. Allison prides himself in building and maintaining a business that has flourished and kept numerous customers satisfied for more than 25 years. He attributes this success to sheer perseverance, dedication, and his motto to always “treat people right.” As a testament to his hard work, the business was recognized as a “Top-Rated Service Shop” by CARFAX Car Care in 2019 and 2020. A devoted member of his community, he has been part of the El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce for many years and in 2008, with his brother, he purchased a 106-year-old movie theater in the city, which they completely restored and reopened as a single-seat cinema.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Allison plans to retire in the next five years and explore other interests, as well as travel the country. Outside of his work, he is extremely grateful for his wife, two children, two stepchildren, and seven grandchildren.
