Daniel Clink Jr., Representative at Global Financial Impact, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of insurance.

Upon earning a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management from Houghton University in 2014, Mr. Clink spent subsequent years as a financial- and data-focused analyst across several companies. Having accrued experience throughout college as an accounts receivable billing clerk at Mirabito, he utilized his expertise as a customer billing requirements and resolutions analyst and business analyst of sales and pricing at XPO, Inc. between 2015 and 2021.

However, while navigating the corporate world, Mr. Clink became disillusioned by stagnant salaries and the favoritism he observed in promotions. Recognizing the need for change, he sought better opportunities that would allow him to make a difference. After serving as a data analyst and team lead at DUAL North America, he transitioned to insurance sales, where he has passionately aimed to educate people on the importance of life insurance and retirement planning by attaining licenses in New York, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina and Florida, and becoming an insurance producer through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.

An agent with the New York Life Insurance Company from 2023 to 2025, Mr. Clink subsequently found success in his current role, through which he schedules and conducts meetings with clients, educating clients on financial options, assesses clients’ budgets and financial needs, determines next steps for clients’ coverage and retirement planning, follows up with contacts from networking events, and balances the number of calls and meetings each day. For him, the journey begins with a simple conversation, and he’s long been dedicated to showing others the significant benefits of securing their financial futures.

Mr. Clink’s most notable achievement in the industry involves helping a client find suitable life insurance coverage. The client, in his 50s, used a software program to select how much coverage he wanted and received approval for a term policy. While this was a good outcome, he knew the client would need coverage again after the term ended. He set a goal to find a better option that lasted longer and cost less. As an experienced insurance broker, he shopped around and found a policy that lasted more than the initial 10 years and was cheaper than the approved amount. When the client asked how he did it, Mr. Clink simply replied, “I just went shopping.” This experience showed his dedication to finding the best insurance solutions for his clients’ current and future needs.

Attributing his own success to the impactful mentorships he’s received from leaders throughout his career, the guidance from his mother, and support from his wife, DeAnna, an elementary music teacher, Mr. Clink feels lucky to have such a strong network, helping him thrive personally and professionally. Looking toward the future, his goals include assisting 100 different families in Colorado within the next five years; he also aims to expand his efforts by bringing other agents into his working environment, hoping to help 100 agents across the country, with a significant objective to establish a presence in each state to assist those in need.
