In the midst of her studies, she served as a clerk with the Nebraska-based firm Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP and contributed a legal article to Nebraska Lawyer, a quarterly publication.
She now serves full-time at the firm as an associate attorney in the litigation department. Here, her primary practice includes medical malpractice, insurance defense, construction law, and personal injury—and her daily responsibilities are managing files, communicating with clients, and attending hearings and depositions.
Ms. Kanthack has additionally contributed a legal article to Nebraska Lawyer, a quarterly publication, and belongs to the Women’s Fund Snorkel Organization, United Way of the Midlands Emerging Leaders, and the Salvation Army’s Echelon: Omaha Chapter. Outside of her main endeavors, she lends her services to United Way, pro bono clinics, Legal Aid of Nebraska, and sits on the executive board of directors for Family Health Services, Inc.
Attributing his success to her passion for making a meaningful difference, eagerness to learn, and love for interacting with her clients, Ms. Kanthack is proud of achieving a lot in the three years she’s worked professionally, indicating her impressive upward trajectory. In addition, her older sister, Taylor, attended law school earlier than her and is currently employed by the federal government in Seattle. Considering her a significant role model, her sister’s accomplishments and deep passion for her work paved the way for her and inspired her career journey.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Kanthack aspires to achieve partnership status. She’s keen on developing a highly respected practice area within the firm, with a focus on medical malpractice defense.
