Andy J. Casas, Educator and Instructor, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of technology.
Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in information technology and later a master’s degree in information systems from the University of Phoenix, Mr. Casa has excelled in IT since 2001 and began sharing his expertise as a teacher in 2017. He has long been driven by technology and drawn to the innovative nature of the industry, launching his career as a network technician at CNI and subsequently serving as a system administrator at Intelisource Technical School and in desktop support for numerous companies, including Universal Studios. He then spent several years as the IT System Administrator at the U.S. Veterans Initiative, the IT manager and system administrator at Shore Hotel, an IT network specialist at Integrated Office Technology, and an IT systems analyst at Health Right 360. He has been active as an IT consultant with PAC Computer Network Consultants since 2010 and an IT specialist at Plaza de la Raza Child Development Services, Inc. since 2023. In these capacities, he handles any kind of technology situation, works with administrators, and solves problems.
With his demonstrated history in information technology, and specialized skills in administration and management, Mr. Casa has taught computers, computer literacy, and digital technology for Charter Oak Adult Education through CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) since 2018. In addition, he taught computers and coached robotics at Our Lady of Talpa School, and further served as an instructor at New Opportunities Charter School Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. Having developed a love for life as an educator, he aspires to become a faculty member at a community college in the future, where he would like to lead computer technology and certification courses.
Mr. Casa attributes his success to his drive to keep moving forward, overcome obstacles, and remain motivated.
