Darrick Jones, President at DSneakerXPress and Darrick Jones Enterprises, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the fields of business consulting and financial service.

Raised by a single mother growing up, Mr. Jones was inspired early on to work hard and push himself to pursue his goals, no matter the challenges. Out of high school, he worked a nine-to-five job packaging beignets at Café Du Monde in his home city of New Orleans before transitioning into sneaker reselling and starting his own business, DSneakerXPress at the onset of the COVID pandemic. Although he began attracting high-profile clientele, including celebrities, his business growth was not as rapid as he had hoped.

However, in 2024, while at a concert surrounded by wealthy individuals, Mr. Jones gauged their advice and insights, leading him to his future mentor, Haitian CEO Herman Dolphy, who was discussing business funding. After some initial skepticism, he invested in credit repair and ultimately raised his score from 570 into the 700s by later in the year. With this newfound credit, he accessed funding from sources like BlueVine and Chase, realizing he could also help others secure capital. This revelation motivated him to develop his current business model, Darrick Jones Enterprises, which focuses on facilitating business funding for clients and teaching financial literacy.

In this capacity, Mr. Jones leverages business credit lines and business credit cards to fund inventory, handles client calls, creates and post social media content, and mentors his clientele on financial literacy and generational literacy and generational wealth building. As a testament to his success, he received a plaque in January 2026 from Mr. Dolphy for facilitating $1 million in business funding for various businesses and entrepreneurs within just six months. He considers this accomplishment significant due to the challenges many companies face in security funding. In addition, he still maintains his sneaker business, utilizing AI-powered SneakerBot to cart and purchase limited-edition sneakers, ships packages, and teaching sneaker resellers how to raise capital through business funding.

Beyond his business ventures, Mr. Jones is deeply committed to local impact through the Daquan Fountain Foundation, a nonprofit named after his late friend, which teaches financial literacy to the New Orleans community. His involvement in civic matters extends to his broader mission of educating underserved populations about business funding and wealth creation, believing that financial literacy and access to capital can be transformative for families and future generations. He also volunteers with students through St. Augustine High School.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Jones aims to assist more than 5,000 business owners in achieving their goals. He plans to support around 1,000 business owners each year, a target he considers quite achievable.
