Jeffrey A. Stivers, Senior Value Stream Leader at Collins Aerospace, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of aviation.

Upon graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1992, Mr. Stivers followed in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, launching a decades-long military career that persists to this day. He served on active duty as an Air Command and Control Officer for 10 years and subsequently held the roles of Future Operations Officer, Civil Affairs Officer, and Interagency Military Liaison to the U.S. Embassy between 2004 and 2014, over the course of which he completed three challenging combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan—experiences that he reflects upon with great pride. In the midst of his service, he also continued his education by earning a Master of Science in management and homeland security from Colorado Technical University, where he also taught as an adjunct professor.

Finding success across myriad positions, Mr. Stivers has additionally provided his expertise to Camber Corporation, a prominent defense and space manufacturing company now known as HII: he served as a joint training system specialist within the U.S. Space Command, U.S. Northern Command, and North American Aerospace Defense Command; a joint training system support specialist; and a joint training facilitator specialist within the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command. He has lent his services as a senior military operations analyst and director of operations at DSoft Technology, Inc. from 2017 to 2023 and was active as a Battle Watch Commander and Director of the Joint Operations Center for U.S. Space Command between 2019 and 2022. Prior to his current role, he worked at Sigmatech, Inc. as its space operations training developer and instructor and space training manager.

As the Senior Value Stream Leader at Collins Aerospace since 2024, Mr. Stivers leads new programs in the ejection seating business, serves as the primary customer interface, manages large programs, analyzes data, recommends resolutions for program issues, manages vendors, maintains progress reports, and participates in contract negotiations.

He has long attributed his success to his good upbringing, a supportive home environment, early involvement in sports—which helped him develop discipline and focus as a child and teenager—military experience, faith, and the strength provided by his ex-wife, especially her support during his deployments. He envisions retirement within the next 10 years, demonstrating a commitment to long-term planning. In the interim, he aims to secure two promotions within his company, taking on a leadership role and ultimately seeking to rise to an even more significant positions—such as managing a team of leaders. A grateful father of three and grandfather, he considers this stage of life deeply rewarding.
