Gregory D. Ruiter, President and Managing Partner at Timber Ridge Exteriors, has been recognized as a Marquis Emerging Leader for their contributions and achievements in the field of construction.

Mr. Ruiter, a hard worker unwilling to compromise on always doing things the right way, has excelled in his leadership role since 2019. At the prominent Minnesota-based construction company, which specializes in installing siding, roofing, and gutters, he handles accounting, sales, marketing, compliance, budgeting, internal IT, and general management. He previously served as the vice president of Armor Xteriors from 2013 to 2019, helping to establish it as one of the largest home improvement contractors in the Midwest that expanded to 14 states and became a major customer of ABC Supply Co. He considers building this company from the ground up to be his most significant career accomplishment.

In addition, Mr. Ruiter found success as the owner of DunRuiter Construction LLC—a residential remodeling and construction company—from 2006 to 2013 and launched his career as a contract manager at Timberline Contract Management in 2010.

As a testament to his integrity, Mr. Ruiter has refunded money on projects upon noticing calculation errors or when the costs were lower than initially thought. He’s also quick to take responsibility for mistakes made, even years after warranties have expired, believing that holding himself accountable and not wavering from what’s right has been the biggest factor in building numerous successful businesses.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Ruiter’s primary goal is to have a brick-and-mortar store in his area, where he can provide services to his current customers and ensure quality and outcomes. Outside of his primary endeavors, he’s a member of the Rochester Area Builders and the Rochester Commercial Builders Council and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.
