In 2018, Mr. McKinney established the Arizona-based construction company specializing in wall panels, office furniture, wall specialties, and access flooring. There, he forges strategic partnerships across the industry, including with manufacturers, dealers, general contractors, and owners, to implement innovations in interior architectural products and solutions. He strives to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to his team, ensuring their projects reflect each client’s unique values and goals for their spaces—and then exceed their expectations.
Pulling from more than a decade of experience in interior architectural solutions, Mr. McKinney served as the project manager for Finished Business Interiors from 2005 to 2010 and CoStruct from 2009 to 2012 and a salesman, designer, and installer of DIRTT Construction Systems for Goodmans Interior Structures from 2012 to 2018. When he started Next EOIC, the business started with just three employees and has grown to a team of eight, with three dedicated to administrative tasks, and then ultimately 16 employees. Among his many career achievements, he takes pride in running the company on a cash basis; his wife is an accountant, and her meticulous attention to detail enabled them to operate Next EOIC accordingly.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. McKinney enjoys spending his free time with his wife, hiking, backpacking, and off-roading.
