Mr. Jackson’s professional journey began with humble beginnings. He and his family experienced financial hardship growing up, but he attributes those tough times to the strong work ethic that set him apart from others later in life. In his mid to late 20s, while working as a dialer and call center manager at CompuCredit Corporation and feeling stuck in life, his wife, Manda, encouraged him to “break free” from his self-imposed limitations and pursue his dreams. He took this to heart and made the decision to further his education beyond the high school diploma he had; he ultimately excelled academically, earning an associate degree in business from Gwinnett College-Lilburn, a Bachelor of Science in technical management and entrepreneurship from DeVry University, and then an MBA in international business from Southern New Hampshire University with an impressive 3.99 GPA.
Following his eight years at CompuCredit and time as an operations manager of Precision Financial Group and financial services professional with the Coca-Cola Company, Mr. Jackson launched a new career in car sales as the general manager at DriveTime in Lawrenceville, Georgia, from 2013 to 2021, which introduced him to effective leadership and inspired him to seek opportunities where he could thrive. He also served as the district manager of U.S. Auto Sales. However, in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, he found himself without a job. He was contacted by Amazon for an interview, which led to a new job opportunity as an area manager of Global Specialty Fulfillment and director of leadership and professional development between 2021 and 2024—in this capacity, he used his life experiences to work with people with disabilities and implement good changes.
To bolster his credentials, he enrolled in Harvard Business School and has found success as the Chief Executive Officer of the Jackson Creative Group since 2023. In this capacity, he works with medium—to large companies to encourage them to expand their perspective on management, assists in identifying and cultivating potential leaders, and promotes leadership development through training and public speaking engagements. His overall mission has been providing “support and guidance to his team members, potential partners, and customers while achieving organizational revenue and sales goals.” He also specializes in coaching, speaking, and facilitating workshops for various companies. In addition, he ran as a candidate for the Georgia House of Representatives.
