Driven by a natural love for solving problems and facing challenges, Mr. Sanfratello has accrued a decade of professional experience through his expertise in accounting and finances. Additionally motivated by his supportive father growing up, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from SUNY Plattsburgh—during which time he gained experience as an assistant bookkeeper at Vescio Family Advisory, a renowned firm whose clients include families, entrepreneurs, and executives. Before graduating, he also served as a tax aid intern at AARP and an auditor for Marc Fisher Footwear.
Mr. Sanfratello was subsequently active as an accounting assistant at Tokio Marine HCC, an insurance agency, and a bookkeeper for Reich Brothers, LLC, a national industrial real estate firm. After being an accounting manager for Alarm King, he worked as an accounting consultant for Robert Half International Inc. from 2020 to 2023. After three years, however, he felt he wanted to explore new opportunities to continue growing in his career, leading to his current role as a senior accountant at SAPinsider, “the largest and fastest-growing SAP [System Applications and Products in Data Processing] community worldwide,” where he assists the controller with monthly close and general accounting responsibilities.
Reflecting on his accomplished career so far, Mr. Sanfratello considers his most notable achievement to be his success as a member of a three-person auditing team instrumental in helping to consolidate more than 30 car wash locations with different accounting systems into one. In addition, Mr. Sanfratello is currently learning coding and programming, with aspirations of building his own software program in the future.
In the next five to 10 years, Mr. Sanfratello strives to complete his accounting career and start a pawn shop—having worked in accounting his entire professional life, he believes he possesses all the necessary skills to succeed in entrepreneurship.
